Pacific National operates the South Dynon Terminal and offers open access to the Terminal to all rail operators on a non-discriminatory basis in accordance with the Rail Management Act 1996 (Vic).
The Terminal operates 24 hours a day, 6 days a week. The Terminal is closed between 16:30 Saturday and 08:00 Sunday every week.
The Terminal can load, and unload, four trains of up to 1500 metres simultaneously. Several other roads can store rolling stock.
The road numbers, locations, their lengths, and uses are set out in Schedule 6 (Capacity Statement) to the Access Arrangement.
Access seekers are encouraged to discuss their needs with Pacific National to determine how their requirements can be accommodated.
Before accessing the Terminal, access seekers must request access, using Access Application Form, and execute an Access Agreement with Pacific National.
