We create inclusive working environments where all employees are accepted, valued and free of prejudice and discrimination. We enable and support our people to be their authentic selves, driving better outcomes for recruitment, retention, and operational excellence.
Pacific National’s policies and benefits are inclusive of all our employees. This includes people of all ages, gender identities and sexual orientations, First Nations peoples, people with disabilities, neuro-diversities, and culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds.
Our Inclusion and Diversity efforts focus on five key streams of work which represent our diverse and connected workforce:
Through these Networks we create, discover and promote initiatives to raise awareness, create momentum and build a more inclusive and diverse workforce where all of our people feel welcome, safe and supported.
We embrace and celebrate our different and varied cultural and social backgrounds.
We care about the wellbeing of our people, and foster an open and welcoming workplace where every team member feels valued. We recognise and champion the diversity of thought, ideas and strong connections that our people bring.
Pacific National is a proud member of the Diversity Council Australia – an independent not-for-profit peak body leading inclusion and diversity in the workplace.
We are focussed on removing barriers which impact on an individual’s ability to equitably participate in society.
We are committed to implementing adjustments for an accessible workplace to provide an equitable experience for people with disability. We support carers and recognise the significance of caring for others living with disability.
As an organisation committed to access and inclusion for people with disability, Pacific National are Gold members of Australian Network on Disability (AND). Our membership with AND provides us with the opportunity to build our knowledge and skills to create an accessible and inclusive workplace, through connecting with the right people, organisations and experts.
We acknowledge the traditional custodians of the land where we live, work and rail.
We are committed to strengthening our relationship with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples through reconciliation. We are focussed on building a more inclusive and diverse workplace, through the recruitment and retention of First Nations people.
